INVESTITURE CEREMONY 2021-22
“Leadership is not a position or a title. It is an action and example.”
The establishment of a Student Council gives students an opportunity to acquire the sort of communication, planning and organisational skills which will be beneficial to them in their future.
At L R G Public School, we provide our young students ample opportunities to take up new responsibilities on their shoulders that would make them influencers, leaving a strong impact on the masses.
Those who are going to be put in authority over others, and accept the offer to prove worthy of the appointment as prefect undertake duties that are not always easy to carry out.
They must not be tempted to court popularity but must remember that if they do their duty well and with fairness, they will win respect. To be respected is better than to be cheaply popular.
They must remember that they are expected to set an example of the highest order in punctuality, politeness, integrity, courtesy and proficiency in academics, initiative and a sense of an attachment to the values of the school.
In being prepared to exercise their responsibilities, the cabinet are given the highest opportunity that his school offers in preparing them for the wider life they will enter when the time comes for them to leave.
